This book was thought provoking and had a ring of truth that made it actually scarey. We all know that our government is full of corruption. I don't think it's possible to have that many people who have that much power without having some degree of corruption, but do we ever stop to think about just how many facets of our lives that corruption might touch? This book along with the rest of Mr. Thornhill's books have the ability to both make you think and be thoroughly entertained at the same time. well done!Product details

This is in regards to a real life figure he mentions in this book. Kevin Trudeau. First Trudeau is now serving federal time. Federal jury of criminal contempt for lying in several infomercials about the contents of his hit books. “He is a habitual liar and a fraudster,” Assistant U.S. Attorney April Perry said. .
The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don't Want You to Know About.” Prosecutors said he ignored a previous court order by describing the program as easy when it actually called for punishing calorie restrictions and a crippling list of food restrictions. However in this book its like a best kept secret. I really find it distasteful that he is promoting this guy. He is a good author. However Trudeau has been proven to be a liar. Why this author picked this guy to promote I have no idea.
This book is silly. Filled to the brim with sillyness. Newspaper are to afraid to print the truth about the FDA? Cmon really? Also they cant deliver the report because they need the authors to be alive? Silly. They need to find a judge who "eats organic and takes natural supplements" for a wiretap. Again sillyness. No judge is going to issue a wiretap for a hunch. Organic or not. I know its fiction but it should be sorta of realistic fiction. Its like having guys who want to get to one place to another by flapping their arms and flying around in the air. This book is just extra silly.
Love this series! Comedy/mystery at it's best! Keep them coming Robert Thornhill!!
Another fun adventure with Walt Williams, his partner Ox, and the gang!
This was one of his best books - I think. Seems to me that is how I felt about all the others too. The thing is, this was about something I have felt very strongly about for fifty years - the government in bed with the pharmasuiacles.
As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Robert Thornhill. Little bit of everything. The only thing I have a problem with is when the font changes, but that didn't happen too much. I will definitely read more by this author.
Once again the author writes with a moral in mind. The hero's play a dangerous role but stay focused on the plot. Some humor is added but the plot thickens and the good guys stay alive to fight again in the next novel. Light reading after a difficult day.
Robert Thornhill has written another great book. Both funny and serious. Crime solving but not really mysterious and raising questions about our world view. You laugh and occasionally cry, but always are made to think.
